Home of many record catches,the Pier has weathered many a hurricane and fishing tournaments. Fishing records include the world record 1780 pound Tiger Shark and the 98-pound Tarpon. The Pier was built in the early 1940’s and has been owned by the Prince family since 1965. The Cherry Grove Pier also features a Tackle and Gift Shop at the end!

2. Myrtle Beach State Park Pier
Just 3-miles south of Myrtle Beach, the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier is surround by breathtaking views. A fishing pass for the piers is only $4.50. Take an afternoon to sit back and relax on the pier as you cast out your line! Also make time to hike one of the numerous trails offered at the Park!


3. 14 Avenue Pier
Located on North Ocean Blvd.,14th Avenue Pier has been a part of this oceanfront location since 1926. The Pier refused to be moved, even through Hurricane Hugo. Even if you do not fish, visit the Pier just to stroll across it.
 
4. The Pier at Garden City
Free to walk on, the Pier at Garden City is located only 8-miles south of Myrtle Beach. The 668-foot long pier with a rain shelter at the end is fantastic for those looking for a place to fish in the shade! Head down to this pier for relief from the sun and top-notch fishing!


5. Springmaid Pier
The longest pier in Myrtle Beach, Springmaid stretches 1060 feet and is 36 feet side, giving you plenty of room to find the perfect fishing spot. This Myrtle Beach landmark is home to numerous fishing tournaments and offers the best view of the Grand Stand. The Pier also holds the State Record catch for Spanish mackerel and the largest Tarpon caught. This is a must see out of all the piers in North Myrtle Beach!


6. Surfside Pier
