It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is just around the corner, and the kids have all gone back to school. What a great reason to escape to the North Myrtle Beach area and have a relaxing getaway to the beach. Take Me Out to the Ballgame

One way to get your holiday weekend kicked off is heading over to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans stadium for a fun game. They will be playing a home game against the Lynchburg Hillcats on Sunday, September 5^th, 2021. The game will begin at 7:05 pm and think of how much fun you’ll have with the family. Grab a hot dog for everyone in the family and a drink as you cheer on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Think of the memories you’ll make of attending this game on Labor Day weekend!

Myrtle Beach Mustang Week

Another great way that you can enjoy Labor Day Weekend is by attending the 20^th Annual Mustang Week. This year it will be held from September 6^th– September 12^th around the Grand Strand. Some of the areas you’ll see the beautiful cars are Broadway at the Beach and Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Since this is the 20^th year that this has been held, it’s one that you’ll be able to see over 900 Mustangs and SVTs. If you have someone in the family who loves cars, this is the perfect event and opportunity to attend.

Allow us to share with you three fun things that you can do in the area that you will want you to do for years to come. Ropes Course

One thing that has become very popular over the past few years is ropes courses. These are good for the younger ones in the family and the older teens. There are several places along the Grand Strand where your family can head to check out the courses. If you’re looking to stay near your vacation rental in North Myrtle Beach, then head over to LuLu’s Beach Arcade at Barefoot Landing. This is a good place for the whole family to enjoy a little time together. While the next two aren’t in North Myrtle Beach, we still wanted to share them with you, Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures and Radical Ropes Adventure Park. All these rope courses will challenge you to get through the course without any help and have a good time!

Break Out Fun

Another fun thing that the whole family can get into is trying their hand at Break Out Myrtle Beach Escape Room. This has become a trendy thing to do around the country, and it’s a great thing to do on a rainy day. Decide on a day to do the escape room and work together as a team to find your way out. There are many times that you must try and do along with a few rooms but working together is the way to go. From tweens to teens, the older kids will love this adventure, and it is something that they can do with their friends. Think of the memories you’ll make on this fun outing together on your next vacation.

Shopping

For many vacationing to North Myrtle Beach means that they get to do a little shopping too. There are two outlet malls in the area that are a must-visit on your next trip. Whether you’re getting the kids ready for school or looking for a good deal, there is something for everyone here. There are outlet malls, but there are malls, Barefoot Landing, and Broadway at the Beach. Both Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing offers many different events during the year, too, so be sure to check those out.

For families who love a challenge, then check out their obstacle island where it’s a large island with multiple obstacles to do. The other option to choose is Cable Park which allows you to do anything pulled behind a boat. Shark Wake Park is a perfect option for spending the day out on the water and still have a great time laughing with the family!

Did Someone Say Mini Golf?

For many families, coming to the beach means it’s time for that family-friendly mini-golf game or two. Mini Golf has become a staple for most when they go on any family vacation. Can you believe that the year is already flying by so quickly? It’s hard to believe that Spring Break will be here before you know it, and now is the time to start planning for it. Fishing with the Family

Have you and your family ever been fishing while you’re on vacation in North Myrtle Beach? If you haven’t, then allow us to share with you a great place to cast a line at. Head on over to the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier located in North Myrtle Beach for the day. They have a full-service tackle shop where you can get bait, rent fishing rods, get your fishing license for the day and even grab some gifts. Some of the best memories for many family members have been made while they are all fishing out on the pier!

Fun on the Water

Another great thing that you can do with the family has some fun on the water. Rent a jet ski for a half-hour, hour, and 2 hours while you explore the Intracoastal Waterway or the ocean. Take a dolphin tour on a jet ski or rent that pontoon boat for the day. Some other fun things you can do while on the open water is try your hand at paddleboarding or using the kid’s boogie board to catch a few waves. For many families spending time together on the open water is just as relaxing as spending it on the beach.

Spend 4th of July in North Myrtle Beach this Year

Are you and your family looking to get out of the house and go on vacation? If you are, then come to North Myrtle Beach this year. The 4^th of July will be a little different for many around the country, but there is still plenty to do in the area. Fireworks

Many of the fireworks around the area have been canceled or rescheduled this year. There will be fireworks happening in Downtown Conway, which is about a 35-minute drive from North Myrtle Beach. This fireworks show will be starting at 9:30 pm so be sure to get there a little early before the fun.

Beach It

Since you will be at the beach on vacation, why not take advantage of the surf & sand. North Myrtle Beach has some of the best beaches on the Grand Strand. If you happen to stay in one of our Oceanfront vacation rentals, then you will be able to walk onto the beach right from your home. Staying in a vacation rental that is not on the beach, there will be plenty of public beach access’ that your family can go to. Treat the family to some out of this world milkshakes in a mason jar. The Crazy Mason is located in the Market Commons area inside the 810 Billiards & Bowling. The family will fall in love with visiting this local family-owned business on your 4^th of July vacation!
