Great fit for us!
I was skeptical bc of price, ON THE FRONT! But we loved it. Yes furniture needs updating, but neat clean house. Wonderful vacation. Our Khloe (shitzu) loved it too! We are planning coming in the fall to the Earl!

Vacay

Office staff was great, had the opportunity to meet one of the matinance staff he was awesome and very respectful as well. Ocean front
We love the Earl. Location is great. When I was young, my family aways stayed in a house just like this. It's just what we wanted! Will be coming back Cherry Grove is our favorite beach! Wand B.

This place was great to stay at and great view of the beach. Inside of house was clean and space was good. My husband and I had a very nice vacation at this location.

Staycation!
We needed a place while our home interior was being painted. The Earl is our favorite beach spot, just never stayed during winter. We didn’t need to worry about staying cozy when it was 30° outside - the heat works excellent! Best features of the Earl: BEST porch on the ocean affording sunrise and sunset views, knotty pine interior giving it that beach cottage vibe, 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, plenty of parking, close to shopping, and excellent property management. We had a couple of issues which were resolved without hesitation! If the Earl isn’t available, look for his “sister” property the Mary Ruth! Identical but Earl has a better kitchen!

The Earl
We all fell in love with paneled walls and ceilings! The hardwood floors added to beauty! The kitchen was nicely arranged so that more than one person could work together! The deck was so nice with the rocking chairs! The view was spectacular!

First time renter
The Earl was the perfect size for our family. The view is spectacular! The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. Quite a relaxing home. We had zero problems!

Nice location, Filthy Furniture
We came down to NMB from Raleigh for a impromptu 3 night getaway (before coronavirus shut everything down). The Earl looked nice online - reasonably priced and on the beach, but let's cut to the chase... The Earl is in desperate need of new furniture and a deep cleaning. Beds & pillows are cheap; one queen bed squeaks loudly with any movement. The upholstery is significantly stained (it's gross). There were cakes of dust on walls behind & above bed where regular quick cleaning b/w renters is ignored. Screen door to back deck is on it's last leg. No screens on most windows. Some blinds are broken & have mold/mildew. The Earl has lots of potential to be a cute rental, but it's way past time for a deep cleaning and new furniture. Kitchen was good, loved the big kitchen table. Wish the back deck had a table. Interactions w/ Seaside Vacation staff was great, bathroom & kitchen was clean, but 10am checkout is rough and "damage waiver" isn't refundable. Awesome IGA market is just 1 mile down the road. Bottom Line: We would not rent this unit again, 2 stars is generous.

The Earl
This was our 2nd year at The Earl and we plan on returning next year. It is a lovely 3 bedroom cottage which we have enjoyed. We call it our quiet house.

Earl House
We recently stayed in The Earl. What a fantastic location. I couldn’t believe how close the ocean was. A block away from restraints and shopping. This house needs updating. The back door and some windows need replaced. The back deck is wonderful. Plenty of seating and shade. The outside grill was completely unusable. Don’t get me wrong, Earl is adorable, however, a bit of updating would go a long way.

The Earl
The Earl is in a great location. We loved the big deck on the back. The house itself inside could use some upgrades. Couch in livingroom had stains all over it. The shower in 1 of the bedrooms needs more attention when cleaning or needs to be redone. Bed pillows were nasty. There were " Ants " everywhere !! When I mean everywhere, the whole house including the beds. Called to let the staff know and they sent maintenance out with a can of ant spray. When checking out , once again mentioned the ant problem and the lady was sort of rude and could have cared less. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would use Seaside vacation rental again next year and would rent the Earl again if the upgrades were done

Loved The Earl
The location was the best! Very quiet and relaxing week at the beach. Our dog, Archie had a great time as well. Would definitely stay at The Earl again!!

Best Place to Relax!
We LOVE The Earl!!! We've stayed here several years, and will again next year, Lord willing. We especially love sitting on the porch, just to listen and watch the ocean. Seaside Vacations is always nice and very accommodating. Thanks for another great vacation!
