Shady Oak Cottage is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation rental home located in the Tilghman Beach section of North Myrtle Beach. This pet friendly home got its name from the BIG BEAUTIFUL OAK TREE in the front yard and is walking distance to the beach. It has a fenced in area for the doggies to roam in and out of the screened porch at the front of the house and the back of the house has a big patio with a grill and chairs for relaxing after a long day in the sun . Shady Oak Cottage is the perfect family vacation getaway; comfortably sleeping 11. The first bedroom has a queen bed and TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed, 2 twin beds, and TV. The third bedroom has a double bed, 2 twin beds, and a TV. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and TV. There is a living area, dining area, and kitchen with dishwasher. This North Myrtle Beach rental has basic cable TV, a DVD player, free WI-FI, washer/dryer, and a charcoal grill.
This pet friendly rental allows 3 small dogs or 2 dogs up to 60 pounds each. This is a non-smoking house and does allow motorcycles and trailers. GOLF CARTS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY, so you can rent one, just ask us for a company nearby.
Shady Oak Cottage is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and grocery stores. Just a short drive away, you will find favorite tourists attractions such as Carolina Opry, Alabama Theater, Legends in Concert, House of Blues, and Pirates Voyage. Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing are areas where the entire family can spend hours shopping, eating, and finding that perfect vacation souvenir. Kids and adults alike will be intrigued by Wonder Works, the Myrtle Beach Sky Wheel, Ripley's Aquarium, the Wax Museum, Alligator Adventure, and Grand Prix. Settle down for the evening with the most stunning view of a perfect sunset. Walk along the shores of the Atlantic and search for a treasure from the sea. Bask in the warmth of the Carolina sunshine. Don't forget to set a tee time at one of the hundred golf courses in the area or even take a day for deep sea fishing. If you are not a boat fan, the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier will be the place to find fish biting. Drop your pole and relax in the sun.

This family rental property is located in a quiet, residential community. Groups or house parties are NOT allowed. Adherence to maximum occupancy, parking, trash and noise ordinances is required and strictly enforced. Any violation will result in eviction.

Great Vacation
I cannot say enough about Seaside Vacations staff. I had so many questions with all the Covid-19 mandates, regulations etc. They were all so patient with me with my many phone calls. Turned out to be such a relaxing vacation - truly able to forget about everything!! The house is wonderful and the neighborhood is so quiet. Great house!
This is a great house! Quiet road and neighborhood, super easy and close walk to the beach. The house had plenty of room. The covered sunroom/porch was really nice to sit out and have some meals and the fenced in backyard was great for our dog. Only negative thing I can say is one of the bathrooms took forever to have hot water in the sink or shower. Relaxing and fun family spring break trip!
My kids are older now...so not always easy to find a time or place where all of us can meet up and spend quality time together, comfortably. To include grandma and our dog! Perfect living space. It was so impressive. The screened porch only added to the space we enjoyed together. This home is in a perfect location...short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and fenced yard also made it nice to enjoy the outdoors. We left the property and trip wanting more time and a desire to come back again. (Even want to find our own place in the area, perhaps one day, soon!). The oak tree out front made a great photo shoot. We love South Carolina, and this gives us the comfort of being "home". The kitchen was well stocked as were needed supplies and towels were plenty! Bedrooms were huge and very comfy. Bathrooms were also nice.
