The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex is a great resource for locals and visitors alike. Especially in the summer, there are a number of great sports camps to choose from. But, at other times of the year, there are plenty of other great ways to keep your children active during a visit to North Myrtle Beach. On your next beach vacation, enroll your child in one of these activities or sports camps in North Myrtle Beach!
North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex
The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex is filled with great things to do during your next beach vacation. Whether you want to explore the scenic trails, bring your four-legged friend to the dog park, attend a concert, or catch a ball game, there is something active to do year-round at the complex. Each fall, the complex organizes football, baseball, and volleyball leagues for local children, but visiting children can still join in on the fun. This year, the sports complex is offering fall soccer camps for children ages three to seven years old. These one-day camps are every Saturday morning from September 10- October 22, 2016, and invite children to come and learn the fundamentals of the game while having fun. This fall, the soccer camp at the sports complex will be one of the best sports camps in North Myrtle Beach!
Coastal Carolina University
For older children and teens, sports camps in North Myrtle Beach can be harder to find. But, take the 30-minute drive south to Coastal Carolina University and there is a number of great camps and clinics available to them on the Conway, SC, college campus.
On September 3-4, 2016, the Coastal Carolina University baseball team is hosting the Chanticleer Labor Day College Prospect Camp. This two-day baseball camp is in its 8th year and welcomes dedicated high school baseball players who want to play at the collegiate or professional level. This camp is a great way for players to fine-tune their skills in a focused setting under the guidance of expert college coaches from across the region.
Similarly, the Coastal Carolina University softball team offers weekend clinics for 8th through 12th-grade softball players from September to December. These softball camps are open to any and all players who want to improve their skills and receive valuable instruction from knowledgeable coaches and collegiate athletes. This camp invites players to improve their game, learn about collegiate athletics, and work out in state-of-the-art facilities.
Possum Trot Golf Club
