3 of the Best Things to Do at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex

Featuring baseball fields, batting cages, soccer fields, and more, the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex is ideal for a day of competitive fun. This unique facility sits on 162 acres of land that includes a sprawling 25-acre lake and a gorgeous 10-acre meadow. Guests can spend an afternoon at the park and enjoy miles of walking trails, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and even a dog park – and it’s all just a short drive from Seaside Vacations! Here are some of our favorite things to do at the NMB Park and Sports Complex.

Spend a Day at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex

1. Root for the Home Team

Whether you’re a fan of baseball, lacrosse, flag football, or soccer, there’s always something going on at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. The park can accommodate a wide variety of games on one or all of their 8 regulation soccer/lacrosse fields, 4 youth baseball/collegiate softball fields, 4 high school/collegiate baseball fields, or 8 batting tunnels. Feel free to organize a tournament with your family and friends, or sit back and watch other teams compete for bragging rights. When the games are over, head to one of the many restaurants, shops, and other attractions just minutes away.

2. Attend a Concert

Each year, the NMB Park and Sports Complex presents a free summer concert series for area residents and visitors of all ages. Guests can bring a beach chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of fantastic live music at the amphitheater under the stars. There will also be a variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase. The concerts take place from 7 to 9 PM at the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater in the McLeod Seacoast Meadow, and the event schedule is available online.

3. Explore the Grounds

If you’re not an avid sports fan, the park offers plenty of other ways to enjoy a day of fun in the sun. Guests can traverse over 3 miles of scenic trails that provide a peaceful stroll or bike ride through the meadow, or bring fido along and romp around in the expansive dog park. The kids will be in awe of the perfect green grass and clay diamond baseball fields, and you’ll enjoy getting some exercise and fresh air!
