Divas Half Marathon and 5K Series
The Divas Half Marathon is the most fun and glamorous women’s series in the country, and it’s all about girl power! On May 1, 2016, guests can enjoy a great run in one of the country’s most beautiful and popular vacation destinations, North Myrtle Beach. You’ll get a fabulous pink tutu to rock during the race, and all who complete the half marathon will receive a big, sparkly medal that’s fit for a diva. Wine Wednesdays
Vino lovers, rejoice! Every Wednesday in May from noon to 6 PM, you’re invited to La Belle Amie Vineyard where you can enjoy wine tastings, great food, and live entertainment while soaking up the warm Carolina sun. Vineyard guests can head to the tasting room to sample their wines and a variety of specialty finishing & dipping sauces, dressings, mustards, and more. On your way out, stop by the gift shop and peruse a variety of wine accessories and unique gifts for the perfect souvenir. 
Mayfest on Main
On May 7, 2016, grab the kids and head to Mayfest on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach to celebrate the kickoff of summer. Mayfest features fantastic live music, arts & crafts, food vendors, and an exciting children’s area. Families can stroll down the street and browse local shops for beautiful South Carolina treasures, or bring a few beach chairs and relax with other North Myrtle Beach locals and visitors. The festival begins at 10 AM and continues until 6 PM, so you can have a whole day of fun with the family.
Rivertown Music and Craft Beer Festival
Also on May 7th is the 30th annual Rivertown Music & Beer Festival, from 11 AM to 10 PM on Third Avenue in downtown Conway. At this street festival, guests can enjoy a classic car show, food vendors, two stages of music, and delicious craft beer tastings. Known for its historic buildings, moss-covered trees, and waterfront location, Conway is the perfect place to spend a summer day and is just a short 15-minute drive from North Myrtle Beach.
35th Annual World Famous Blue Crab Festival
One of the largest festivals in the Southeast, the Blue Crab Festival attracts upwards of 50,000 visitors each year. Featuring over 200 fine arts and crafts vendors, specialty food vendors, and awesome live entertainment, this event showcases the friendly, laid-back atmosphere of the local North Myrtle Beach community. Of course, blue crabs and other fresh-caught seafood will be available for purchase, and the festival will take place on May 14th and 15th, 2016.
